A very successful Fundraising dinner for over 130 people was hosted by Anne Milton MP for Guildford on 10 September and raised £15,500 for a SCDT’s project for vulnerable people in Spelthorne, which is being part funded with a grant from the Homes and Communities Agency arranged through the Respond Consortium of which SCDT is a member. The event was sponsored by ExxonMobil and SCDT patron the Rt Hon Baroness Bottomley of Nettlestone was the guest speaker. The impressive turnout included the High Sheriff of Surrey Lady Elizabeth Toulson and the High Sheriff of the Royal County of Berkshire, Dr Christina Hill Williams and the Vice Chairman of Surrey County Council Cllr Lavinia Sealy and 5 Mayors.
