The housing market has been through some tough times and by supporting projects like Rosebery we can help people find places they both want to and can afford to live.'
Councillor Christine Long, chair of social committee at Epsom and Ewell Borough Council, said: 'Providing affordable homes is a key priority for this Council and we are delighted that the Homes and Communities Agency? decision to invest in getting this development back on schedule will provide 28 new and much needed affordable homes for our residents, as well as the employment opportunities that the construction of 72 new homes will provide to this Borough.'
Housing Minister, John Healey, said: 'The power of Government investment is building the homes this country needs and supporting the construction industry at a time when it needs it most.
