We are delighted to announce that the Respond Development Consortium has been awarded a £9.8m contract by the Homes and Communities Agency to deliver 1,166 new affordable homes across London and the South East Region. The HCA has agreed a four year contract with the Consortium which will result in a total of 201 new homes being build in London and 965 across Surrey and Kent.
Dilip Kavi, Chief Executive of Paragon Community Housing Group said: “This is great news for Respond members and the communities in which we work. We are delighted to be working in partnership with the HCA as part of the new Affordable Homes Programme. The Respond Consortium has consistently delivered excellent results since becoming an Investment Partner in 2003 and we look forward to another productive four years of investment in our local communities.
HCA Executive Director for the East and South East, Terry Fuller said: “‘The HCA is delighted that the Respond Development Consortium has agreed a contract to deliver a large number of new affordable homes in the area. We will be working closely with them and our local authority partners to ensure these much needed homes are delivered to meet the needs of local people.”
