Responds programme delivery plans received a great boost with the granting of planning permission for 35 new affordable homes at Howard Close, Ashtead. Respond member Mount Green Housing Association has worked closely with Mole Valley DC to secure the planning consent. The development will deliver homes for rent and shared ownership and is being funded with Housing Corporation grant under the new 2008-11 programme.
