Respond Lead RSL Paragon Community Housing Group is proud to announce its accreditation as a ‘first class’ organisation to work for by Best Companies. Paragon received its award due to the high levels of employee engagement which were identified in the comprehensive staff survey conducted by Best Companies.
For Paragon, this award is a welcome addition to the excellent result achieved in their Investors in People assessment last year, where the assessor described some of their managerial practices as ‘world class’ and put them forward for nomination as one of the National Champions.
Peter Morton, Group Chief Executive, said “We are delighted with our achievement, particularly as we entered for the first time this year and were placed amongst just twenty housing associations to receive this prestigious award. Receiving such accolades when the Group is less than two years old are remarkable milestones in Paragon’s young history. We will be using the results of this exercise to further improve our management practices as we recognise that our focus on employee engagement brings real benefits to the company such as improved team working, better staff retention, greater financial performance, and improved services to our customers.”
The Best Companies Accreditation was established to acknowledge corporate excellence in the workplace and follows the elite ‘Michelin style’ star rating system for organisations that demonstrate high levels of employee engagement. The system has been specifically developed to help employers better understand today's complex and ever changing array of workplace issues and how they relate directly to their own organisation. It assesses factors such as leadership, well being and how employees rate their managers, team spirit and company ethos.
