Respond member Elmbridge Housing Trust is delighted to have secured detailed planning consent in February 2009 for the creation of a new neighbourhood at Addlestone, Surrey. The development of 350 houses and flats includes homes for social rent, new build homebuy and intermediate rent. The scheme has been designed in accordance with CABE Building for Life Standards and will achieve a minimum of Level 3 of the Code for Sustainable Homes. At least 10% of the energy requirements for the site will be generated from renewable energy sources.
